Notice Notice

As construction continues on the Crenshaw/LAX Transit Project, additional work will be needed to complete the connection between the Crenshaw/LAX Line and the existing Metro Green Line. Due to the nature of the work, all Green Line train service will end at Crenshaw Station from 9 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 4, 2019 through 3 a.m. on Sunday, Jan. 20, 2019. This means the following stations will be closed:

Hawthorne/Lennox Aviation/LAX Mariposa El Segundo Douglas Redondo Beach Service will be maintained with free bus shuttles in place of Green Line train service between Crenshaw Station and Redondo Beach stations during the closure. Bus shuttles will stop at all stations and run as frequently as the Green Line.

Schedules

Metro Rail C Line operates mostly on the median of Interstate-105 between Norwalk and El Segundo. It is a suburb-to-suburb light rail line.

Green line trains run every 7-8 minutes during weekday peak hours, every 15 minutes midday, and every 20 minutes from about 8pm to around midnight. Service is extended to about 2am on Friday and Saturday nights. Weekend daytime service runs about every 15 minutes. This line uses Proof of payment fare system.

At Aviation/LAX Station, connection to LAX is available via a free shuttle. At Willowbrook/Rosa Parks Station, the Green Line connects with Metro A Line to Long Beach and Downtown LA. At Harbor Freeway Station, it connects with Metro's Silver Line and other buses on the busway.
