The Capitol Corridor is an Amtrak rail line connecting the San Francisco Bay Area to Sacramento and Auburn.

One way and round trip tickets

One way and round trip tickets may be purchased online, at ticket counters or QuikTrak machines, which is valid for travel within one year. If you board from a station without ticket counter, you can purchase a ticket from a conductor on the train without surcharge.

National Amtrak discounts can be applied on advance purchase one way and round trip fares.

A government or school issued photo ID is required to purchase a ticket at the counter and to travel on the train.

10-ride tickets and monthly pass

Capitol Corridors offers 10 ride tickets valid within 45 days, as well as unlimited use monthly tickets. Both can be purchased online, at ticket counters or at a QuikTrak machine.

Amenities

Capitol Corridor is an intercity service. The trains feature cafe cars where beverages and snacks are sold. This train does not provide checked baggage service.

Bicycle access

Most cars have a rack on the lower level that can accommodate 3 bicycles. You will need to provide your own bungee cord to secure your bike.
