Bay Area toll bridges

San Francisco Bay and San Pablo Bay are the most prominent geographic features in the Bay Area. There are 8 toll bridges in the Bay Area. All the bridges only collect tolls one way. Transit service is available on all toll bridges, but not all bridges allow bicycles and pedestrians.

Bay Area toll bridges
Bay Bridge	$7	3pm - 7pm 5am - 10am	3	The West span of bridge is closed to pedestrian and bicycle traffic. The East span has a bike/ped path that link with Yerba Buena Island from Oakland.
Benicia – Martinez Bridge	$7	3pm - 6pm 5am - 10am	3	A bicycle/pedestrian trail is available on the west side of the old (west/southbound) bridge
Carquinez Bridge	$7	3pm - 7pm 5am - 10am	3	bicycle/pedestrian trail is available on the west side of the suspension bridge
Dumbarton Bridge	$7	3pm - 6pm 5am - 10am	2	bicycle/pedestrian trail on the south side of the bridge
Golden Gate Bridge	$9.40 toll invoice, $8.80 license plate account, $8.40 with FasTrak	4pm - 6pm 5am - 9am	3	On weekdays, bikes and pedestrians share the eastern (bay side) walkway along the side of the bridge. On weekends, bikes use the western (ocean facing) side while pedestians use the eastern side.
Richmond – San Rafael Bridge	$7	3pm - 6pm 5am - 10am	3	A pedestrian and bicycle path is available on the upper deck/north lane of the bridge.
SR-520 Bridge				Bike/ped path is available on this bridge
San Mateo – Hayward Bridge	$7	3pm - 6pm 5am - 10am	2	The bridge is closed to pedestrian and bicycle traffic
Tacoma Narrows Bridge				bicycle/pedestrian trail is available on the south side of the eastbound bridge
