This is a mixed express/local route. Local fares are charged for trips anywhere between Palo Alto and the San Francisco International Airport. Express fare is required for riders to and from San Francisco.
Some weekday commute-hour trips are extended to and from Stanford Industrial Park.
Excess luggage is not permitted on this route in either direction between San Francisco Airport and downtown San Francisco. Carry-on pieces are acceptable. Luggage is permitted on local route 292.
