The Chinatown in San Francisco is considered the first and the largest Chinese community outside Asia. The neighborhood is served by a number of transit routes. On street parking is difficult and off-street garages are often packed especially on the weekends.

- Chinatown - Rose Pak Station, served by T Third Street Line, is located under Stockton Street by Washington Street. T Line provides connection to Union Square, SOMA, Mission Bay, Bay View, and Visitacion Valley.
