This is a Rapid Bus route, which makes limited stop. Route 22 provides local service along the same route between Palo Alto and King Road. Route 23 provides local service along Santa Clara and Alum Rock between Downtown SJ and Capitol Ave. Buses run on dedicated median bus lanes on Alum Rock Ave in East San Jose.
