Powell Station is located in the heart of San Francisco's main shopping district and is within walking distance from Moscone Center.

Points of interest
BART
Ticket machines for BART are located in the underground station concourse. Some ticket types are sold at the Transit Store, also on the concourse level. Muni Fast Pass is accepted for rides anywhere between this station and Balboa Park Station.

Bicycle restrictions
Weekdays approximately from 7:12 to 9:05 am, and from 4:16pm to 6:35pm, bikes are not are allowed in this station.
Muni Metro
Muni Metro opens until about 1:00am.
Pay cash fare at the Muni faregates on the concourse level. Faregates only take coins. Change dollar bills to coin at a nearby BART ticket machine. Take the transfer from the faregate and keep it as proof of payment.
If you have a valid pass or transfer, enter at the faregate next to the attendent and show your pass or transfer, or enter through the swing gate when there's no attendent.

Stops in front of San Francisco Shopping Center on Market Street for bus connection to Amtrak trains at Emeryville and other stations.

California Shuttle Bus stop is located in front of Carl's Jr on Cyril Magnin St.

Jitney to Caltrain station stops on 4th Street at Market (by Ross).
AC Transit
Historic Streetcar
Streetcars operate on the surface along Market Street and stop on boarding islands in the middle of Market St by 4th St and by 5th St.
Cable Car
Cable car terminal is located on Powell St by Market St. It is a popular tourist spot because the cable cars are manually turned-around there.
You can purchase souvenir cable car tickets at the ticket booth by the turnaround.
