Civic Center Station is located near San Francisco City Hall, Main library and other government offices. This station is also within walking distance to a number of theatres, music halls and opera house. Further north of the station is the Tenderloin. This underground station is shared by Muni Metro and BART systems. They have separate faregates, station agents, and platforms.
