Millbrae Station

Millbrae Station is the only direct connection between BART and Caltrain systems.

Faregates on platform

BART service at Millbrae Station is provided by Richmond - Millbrae line during weekday daytime and Antioch - SFO line on nights and weekends. Direct service between Millbrae and SFO is only available on nights and on weekends. During weekday daytime, riders between Millbrae and SFO need to transfer at San Bruno Station (BART).

BART ticket machines and faregates are located in the elevated concourse and on the northbound Caltrain platform. All trains depart on Platform 3 (the one adjacent to Caltrain).

Millbrae is located in fare zone 2. Caltrain ticket machines and Clipper Card readers are located in the elevated concourse and on the Caltrain platforms. This station features side platforms.

Caltrain Clipper users transferring to BART need to tag off from Caltrain at a standalone Clipper reader before entering BART.

Shuttle/Other bus

Broadway-Millbrae Shuttle stops on the west side of the station. Millbrae Roundabout stops on California Dr by Chase Bank. All others stop on the east side.

Due to multiple ownership of the spaces at Millbrae, there are different fees and policies between the parking on the east and the west side of the station. BART and Caltrain passengers can park on either side of the station.

Reserved spaces require:

Caltrain monthly parking permits are accepted on the west parking lot only.

For parking spaces on the east side, remember the space number and pay the fee at an add fare machine. Caltrain riders can pay at a special parking machine located in the concourse.

For the west parking lot, remember the space number and pay the fee at a Caltrain ticket machine.
