Millbrae Station is the only direct connection between BART and Caltrain systems.
Points of interest
Ticket machines are available at the elevated station concourse and at the northbound Caltrain platform. First time riders must purchase a reusable BART ticket from the machine before boarding. All riders must pass through the faregates with a valid BART ticket or Clipper card. Keep the ticket or card for the ride and use it to pass through the faregates again when exiting the station.
Riders using Clipper transferring from Caltrain need to "tag off" at a Caltrain Clipper reader on the platform before entering BART.

Due to multiple ownership of the spaces at Millbrae, there are different fees and policies between the parking on the east and the west side of the station. BART and Caltrain passengers can park on either side of the station.

Caltrain monthly parking permits are accepted on the west parking lot only.
For parking spaces on the east side, remember the space number and pay the fee at an add fare machine. Caltrain riders can pay at a special parking machine located in the concourse.
For the west parking lot, remember the space number and pay the fee at a Caltrain ticket machine.
